Pricing your car right
June 10, 2026
The right price is the one that keeps your car booked, not the one that looks best on paper.
Start from what renters compare against
Check what similar cars cost in your city — same class, similar year and transmission. A renter sees your car next to those listings, so a price 20% above the neighbours needs visibly better photos, condition or pickup convenience to win.
A busy calendar beats a high rate
A car at €40/day rented 12 days a month earns more than the same car at €55 rented six. If you are new and have no reviews yet, start slightly below the market for the first few trips — early five-star reviews are worth more than the few euros you give up.
Use the weekly discount
Longer trips mean fewer handovers, less cleaning and a predictable calendar. A 10–20% discount for 7+ days attracts exactly those renters, and the platform shows the discounted weekly total right on your card in search.
Charge for delivery, not for pickup
Keep at least one easy free pickup spot — listings with free pickup convert better. If you offer delivery to an airport or another city, set a fee that honestly covers your time and the trip both ways.
Adjust with the seasons
Summer weekends, holidays and festival dates carry more demand — raise the price moderately. In quiet months, a small drop keeps the calendar moving. Revisit your price once a month; two minutes of tuning is usually worth it.
